Why you should be buying your plane tickets right now? Let me show you why you should book travel right now, right now.
Right now, flights are at the lowest cost I've seen them in my lifetime because of coronavirus. If you purchase your flight before March 31st, American, United, Delta allow you to rebook your flights at no cost to you. Southwest allows you to rebook at no cost all year round.
Check out the prices to Vegas. Have you seen a round-trip to Vegas for $43?
Travel Hack: How to go to Paris for Less than $500 Round-Trip
Here's a shortcut to view the cheapest flights by the month.
Step 1: Pull Up Flights Search on Google Flights
Google compiles all the flight cost for every airline. Click here to go to Google Flights
Enter your city & destination. I personally like to leave the destination blank so I can view all the prices by city. When you delete the destination, you'll see the map like this.
If you're truly flexible like I am, then you can play with the dates to see even cheaper prices. Have you seen $43 round-trip prices to New York? $63 round-trip to Boston? $43 round-trip to Phoenix? $37 round-trip to Denver?
Step 2: Click on the Date Grid at the Top to View Lowest Prices by Day
Step 3 Book Travel: Click on the Date to Select the Flight You Want
Before you book your flight, make sure your airline has a re-schedule at no cost to you. Delta, American and United are all waiving change fees if you purchase in the month of March. Southwest (my personal favorite) has never charged change fees or a bag fee.
Pro Tip: Download your airline's app, create or login to your account and follow all instructions to get notifications & flight information. That way you're able to make any changes directly from your phone.
